1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the TalentedIntern platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations of the State of Minnesota. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Mandatory Pay Transparency (MN Stat. § 181.173)

Minnesota law requires transparency in job postings to ensure fair competition and equity in the labor market.

  • Employer Obligations: If you are an employer with 30 or more total employees, you must include a good-faith salary range and a general description of benefits (including health and retirement) in every job or internship posting on this platform.
  • Compliance: TalentedIntern reserves the right to remove any posting that does not comply with Minnesota’s pay transparency requirements without notice.

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

Age: You must be at least 16 years old to use this platform.

Verification: You agree to provide accurate and truthful information. TalentedIntern does not independently verify the background, credentials, or "intern" status of users. Users are responsible for their own due diligence before entering into any employment or internship agreement.

4. User Content and Privacy

Ownership: You retain ownership of your resumes, portfolios, and job descriptions.

Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act (MCDPA): In accordance with Minnesota law, you have the right to access, correct, and delete the personal data you provide to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how to exercise these rights.

License: By posting content, you grant TalentedIntern a license to host and display that content specifically to facilitate the matching of talent with opportunities.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Post listings that violate the Minnesota Human Rights Act (discriminating based on race, gender identity, marital status, or status with regard to public assistance).
  • Scrape data from the site for commercial use or to build competing databases.
  • Post unpaid internships that do not comply with the U.S. Department of Labor's Primary Beneficiary Test or Minnesota labor laws.

6. Platform Role & Disclaimer

TalentedIntern is a platform, not an employer or a labor organization.

  • No Agency: No partnership, joint venture, or employer-employee relationship is created by your use of the site.
  • "As-Is" Service: We provide the platform "as-is" and make no warranties regarding the accuracy of listings or the quality of candidates.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Minnesota law, TalentedIntern’s liability for any claim arising from the use of this platform is limited to the amount you paid to use the service (if any). We are not liable for disputes, wage claims, or misconduct occurring between users after they connect on our platform.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
